Growing Camphor Trees
Slow-growing, upright, spreading, dense, broad-leaved, evergreen tree, 50–70 ft. (15–21 m) tall and wide though usually smaller, with bronze or pink turning light green, paddle-shaped, pointed, fragrant leaves, to 5 in. (13 cm) long. Leaves simultaneously drop and are replaced each spring.

Good choice for edgings, lawns in open landscapes. Source of camphor oil. Drops flowers, fruit, leaves, twigs, requiring maintenance. Shallow rooted; avoid planting near pavement. Salt burn, verticillium wilt susceptible.
