Growing Annual Chrysanthemum
Many cultivars of low and mat-forming, fleshy annual herbs, to 1 ft. (30 cm) tall. Smooth, bright green, oval or spoon-shaped, succulent, usually coarsely toothed or feathery leaves, to 3 n. (75 mm) long.>
Common cultivars include Chrysanthemum multicaule ‘Autumn Glory’, ‘Primrose Gem’, ‘Rainbow Mixed’, and ‘Yellow Buttons’.

Many showy, gold, yellow, daisylike flowers, to 2-1/2-in. (63-mm) wide, with buttonlike, gold, yellow centers, in summer–autumn.

Spring in full sun to partial shade, 1–2 ft. (30–60 cm) apart, after frost hazard has passed. Plant successions to prolong bloom.

Moderate. Keep evenly moist. Fertilize monthly. Pinch early foliage shoots to shape, again on mature plants to maintain dense foliage. Propagate by seed.
