Growing Lilacbush
One species in a family of about 20 flowering perennial herbs of the Brassicaceae (cabbage) family, with low and mat-like or trailing habit, 6–10 in. (15–25 cm) tall and up to 2–1/2 ft. (76 cm) wide. Radiating, gray-green or variegated, pointed, finely toothed, fleshy, fragrant leaves, to 3/4–in. (19–mm) long.
Lilacbush is native to southeast Europe and western Asia, but is grown worldwide as an ornamental groundcover.
